The Lanark rug is inspired by the diagonal twill structures found in handwoven fabrics. It features a fluid arrangement of interlocking motifs that create its signature feather-like composition. The rich use of contrasting colours gives this design maximum definition.

Our Hand Loom Jacquard rugs are traditionally woven on a handloom fitted with a jacquard mechanism, allowing for precise control over intricate patterns. This technique enables the creation of detailed motifs with clarity and subtle texture. Yarns are looped continuously or cut to create a dense, high-quality pile that offers softness underfoot and lasting structural integrity.
Please note: Due to the handmade nature of our rugs, slight variations in size may occur, with a 5% tolerance.
Returnable Rug Sample
Our returnable rug samples provide a detailed section of the design, allowing you to see the colours and feel the textures in your space before selecting your rug.
Each sample shows a section of the design. Due to the handcrafted nature of our rugs and the complexity of the colour compositions, the exact colour placement may vary slightly across the full rug.
The cost of the sample (£40, excluding shipping) is fully refundable once the sample is returned.

Rug Care + Underlay
We advise customers purchase our Rug Underlay to prevent their rug from creasing and slipping, whether it is placed on a carpet or a hard surface.
An underlay also increases the longevity of a rug by cushioning it. It protects against transference of dark colours or fibres from the back of the rug onto light coloured flooring or carpet underneath.
All of our rugs and underlay are suitable for underfloor heating.

Shipping + Returns
UK Delivery
UK retail orders are charged £3.95, with FREE shipping on purchases over £100. We aim to dispatch in-stock items within 2 to 4 working days.
International Delivery
International retail orders are sent with DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), meaning that taxes and duties are included in the final price. Delivery charges are weight based and are confirmed at checkout.
Returns
In-stock items may be returned by customers for a full refund within 14 days of receiving your order.
Please note, for hygiene reasons, opened bedding cannot be returned.
