THRESHOLDS | London Design Week
12th - 20th September
The Conran Shop

Curated by Stella Smith, the exhibition explores the idea of thresholds as points of connection between interdisciplinary practices and philosophies.

Stella chose three works from Margo's Vexillum and Kaleidoscope series, seeking out pieces that 'consider the threshold not as a boundary but as a site of transformation, a place of connection and of creative possibility.'

Featured works:
Vexillum V, 2022
Kaleidoscope I, 2022
Kaleidoscope III, 2022

This exhibition is part of The Conran Shop's wider programme for London Design Festival.

Now in its 24th edition, the festival brings together designers, makers and ideas from across the world in venues throughout the city, and we're very glad to be part of it this year.

"I selected Margo Selby's work because weaving sits precisely at the intersection this exhibition is exploring — the point where discipline meets experimentation, where colour and structure connect rather than compete. Her practice rejects the threshold as a boundary; rather treating it as the place where transformation actually happens, thread by thread.”
