Margo Selby Studio is pleased to announce the dates for a 5-day creative weaving workshop at our Whitstable studio. The workshop is suitable for weavers of all levels, from complete beginners through to advanced practitioners who may want to approach their work with fresh eyes or learn a new technique.
All refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Our various studio looms are set up in many ways, providing students with opportunities to experiment with different techniques and ideas. Margo will lead a colour theory session exploring how hues interact and blend, informing warp and weft yarn selection. At the end of the week, students will have a selection of hand-woven samples to keep and refer to.
More experienced students wanting to explore a specific technique are welcome to bring their own tabletop loom set-up and ready to weave – please contact the studio in advance for guidance. If there is a particular technique you are keen to learn, please let us know and we will endeavour to support this.

Details
Once booked, our studio team will contact you to discuss your weaving level and requirements. We are happy to provide advice prior to the workshop to ensure you get the most out of the experience. We have looms at the studio for students to use, or you are welcome to bring your own loom, and we can give you setting up instructions prior to the course.
These workshops will take place in our new Whitstable studio.
Attendees will need to organise their own accommodation and travel. If required, we are happy to recommend places to stay and eat locally. Our studio is a 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive from central Whitstable.
The course is suitable for adults (aged 16 and upwards).
All materials and tools are provided.
Cancellation:
If you have to cancel your booking please let us know as soon as possible by email. For cancellations made more than six weeks before the start of the course we can provide a full refund.
For cancellations made within six weeks of the course start date we can only refund 50% of the cost. If there are extenuating circumstances which prevent you from attending the course please let us know.

UK Delivery
UK retail orders are charged £3.95, with FREE shipping on purchases over £100. We aim to dispatch in-stock items within 2 to 4 working days.
International Delivery
International retail orders are sent with DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), meaning that taxes and duties are included in the final price. Delivery charges are weight based and are confirmed at checkout.
Returns
In-stock items may be returned by customers for a full refund within 14 days of receiving your order.
Please note, for hygiene reasons, opened bedding cannot be returned.
