When British Wool invited Margo to create a blanket to mark their 75th anniversary, she knew the exact wool producer and weaving mill she wanted to work with to produce a product with both heritage craftsmanship and contemporary design.

The Field blanket features Margo’s signature jewel colours, made possible through Shepley Yarn’s British Wool colour palette.

As both an artist and textile designer, Margo often chooses wool for its wonderful properties and inherent sustainability.

The Field blanket is an excellent example of her Art Into Industry ethos.

The Lancashire based mill brought an unparalleled depth of knowledge to this project. Their traditional weaving techniques, honed across generations, ensure every Field blanket has been woven to the highest standards, where precision and an expert understanding of wool come together.

This is a full-circle craft collaboration; British design, British Wool, British mills.
